Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] lost against Mercer County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s offense was headlined by Ella Humphrey and Ellie Doubet, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Haylee Bennett and her nine assists.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mercer County, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will square off against Galva at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Spartans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mercer County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Riverdale on the 16th.
