After both having extra time off, they and the Sherman Indian Braves will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sherman Indian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on United Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, United Christian Academy finally turned things around against La Sierra Academy on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights.
United Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Anneke Brower, who had 15 digs.
Meanwhile, Sherman Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell just short of California Lutheran by a score of 3-2. While the Braves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the C-Hawks 25-16 in the first period.
Sherman Indian took California Lutheran into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-16, 25-16, 19-25, 15-11.
United Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Sherman Indian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
United Christian Academy took their win against Sherman Indian when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0.
