Softball Recap: Carlmont Comes Up Short

Carlmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-0 to the Aragon Dons. That's two games in a row now that the Scots have lost by exactly three runs.

Carlmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Carlmont's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Aragon, their record now sits at 9-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlmont will host Woodside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aragon, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Capuchino at 4:00 p.m. The Dons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
