Volleyball Game Preview: Washington Township Senators vs. Tri-Township Tigers

The Washington Township Senators will head out to take on the Tri-Township Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Washington Township is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Washington Township made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Boone Grove, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Senators blew past the Wolves 3-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Senators have posted against the Wolves since September 10, 2019.

Washington Township got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 32-30, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Tri-Township came up short against Morgan Township on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-17.

Washington Township pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tri-Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Washington Township came out on top in a nail-biter against Tri-Township in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Senators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
