Baseball Recap: Blazer Comes Up Short

Blazer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boyd County Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 two weeks ago.

Blazer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Boyd County, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Blazer will be playing in front of their home fans against Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boyd County, they will square off against Wheelersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
