Ridgemont barely beat Arlington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Gophers were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Red Devils on Thursday. Considering the Golden Gophers have won four games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Aubrie Overly spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Kylie Shreve was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amiah Jones, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
