Soccer Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Fayetteville-Perry Rockets. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Georgetown couldn't quite close it out.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Fayetteville-Perry, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Coming up, Georgetown will square off against Clermont Northeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Legacy Christian Academy on the 13th.
