The Bluffton Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Woodlan Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Bluffton will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Jay County, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Bluffton really took it to Jay County for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-45 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bluffton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Konley Ault, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists. The matchup was Ault's third in a row with at least ten points. Isabella Stout was another key player, putting up 23 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodlan). Everything went their way against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on Thursday as Woodlan made off with a 73-49 victory. The Warriors pushed the score to 58-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Braves had little chance of recovering from.
Bluffton better keep an eye on Brooke Kneubuhler. She was instrumental in Woodlan's win, going 7 of 13 on her way to 20 points along with six assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Anderson, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and three blocks.
Bluffton pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points per game. As for Woodlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bluffton has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 35.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Woodlan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Bluffton took their victory against Woodlan when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 66-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bluffton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
