The Gardiner Tigers will head out to take on the Medomak Valley Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Gardiner had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Leavitt on Wednesday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Hornets. The Tigers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024 (when they won 12-1).
Greyson Greenleaf made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Greenleaf was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
