Basketball Recap: Tuscola Comes Up Short

Tuscola lost against Warrensburg-Latham back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tuscola Warriors took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals.

Tuscola's defeat dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Warrensburg-Latham, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Tuscola and Warrensburg-Latham should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Tuscola will challenge Meridian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 303 places (175 vs. 478). Similarly, Warrensburg-Latham (ranked 111th) will meet Clinton (ranked 278th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
