While Overton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed past the Glencliff Colts to the tune of 71-27 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won six in a row.

Overton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from William Livingston, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 14 points and five boards. Eli Denson also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Overton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Overton's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Glencliff, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
