Basketball Recap: Allegheny-Clarion Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Allegheny-Clarion Valley came into Tuesday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Sheffield Wolverines 48-45. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

The victory got Allegheny-Clarion Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Sheffield, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley will head out on the road to square off against East Forest at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sheffield, they will be home for the holidays to greet Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
