Washingtonville extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Matthew Rodriguez. The Washingtonville Wizards enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over the Goshen Central Gladiators on Monday for which the team can thank Rodriguez, who went 5-for-9 en route to 14 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Aidan Sullivan was another key player, shooting 40% from the field on his way to 12 points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Washingtonville's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Goshen Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Washingtonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Goshen Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-69 victory against Saugerties on the 26th.
