Volleyball Recap: West Carrollton Takes a Loss

West Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Greenville Green Wave. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Green Wave from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-3, 25-12.

Leading Greenville to victory were Lily Brubaker and Landrey Huffman. Brubaker had six aces and four digs, while Huffman had three digs and three aces. Those six aces gave Brubaker a new career-high. Sara Loudy also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

West Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Greenville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Looking ahead, West Carrollton will take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville, they will face off against Fairborn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
