Basketball Recap: Liza Maxey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dan River over Altavista

Dan River played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Altavista Colonels, falling 56-34. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Colonels recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Liza Maxey, who posted ten points and six boards. Katie Evans was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.
