Baseball Game Preview: Patapsco Patriots vs. Carver A&T Wildcats

The Patapsco Patriots will face off against the Carver A&T Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patapsco is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Patapsco is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Owings Mills with a sharp 21-6 win on Wednesday. Considering the Patriots have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carver A&T's offense. They lost 16-0 to New Town on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against New Town recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Patapsco's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Carver A&T, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
