Baseball Recap: Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Find Success

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy won the last time they faced Stockbridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sentinels walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sentinels.

Stockbridge's batters probably weren't too happy with Noah Piesko, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (he gave up a single walk).

On the hitting side, Mickey Brown was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Ryan Eikey was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy's record is now 2-0. As for Stockbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will challenge Bath at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Stockbridge, they will take on Lake City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
