Volleyball Recap: Bishop's Beats Pacific Ridge for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bishop won the last time they faced Pacific Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights came out on top against the Firebirds by a score of 3-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Bishop's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-22.

Pacific Ridge's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Streitman, who had 37 assists and nine digs. Streitman has been hot recently, having posted 32 or more assists the last four times he's played.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Pacific Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Bishop's will square off against Sage Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will welcome Madison at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warhawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Firebirds surely won't give up without a fight.
