Big Game from Kilmer As Gainesville Fell 35-20

Starting off the list is Gainesville's Colton Kilmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kilmer threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Patriot had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kilmer it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kilmer saw the Pioneers), he threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Grayson Eisenhower Turns in Season-Best Performance

Sadly, Grayson Eisenhower posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Gainesville over Patriot on Thursday. Eisenhower picked up 164 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

For the season, Eisenhower has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 68.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 15 receiving yards per game.

Kuhn Posts Huge Game in 56-8 Loss

Osbourn Park was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Ben Kuhn did his best to prevent it. Freedom had no answer to Kuhn as he picked up 47 receiving yards, and also rushed for 41 yards.

Osbourn Park is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Kuhn and Osbourn Park will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Battlefield at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Jeremiah Chery Puts an End to Freedom's Losing Streak on Thursday

Freedom's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jeremiah Chery. Chery was unstoppable on Thursday, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Freedom's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Chery and Freedom will venture away from home to face off against Unity Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Freedom's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Dylan Taglieri

Freedom's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Dylan Taglieri. Nobody could stop Taglieri on Thursday as he forced a fumble and made three total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
