While Wallkill's win against Our Lady of Lourdes wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Warriors 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Wallkill wouldn't go down easily and took Our Lady of Lourdes into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-13, 24-26, 15-8.

Wallkill's win bumped their record up to 9-3-4. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wallkill will welcome Kingston at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Our Lady of Lourdes and Saugerties will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
