Soccer Recap: Centennial Triumphs

Centennial's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past the Frontier Titans 1-0. The Golden Hawks' winning goal came courtesy of Sawyer Sackewitz.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six matchups. As for Frontier, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-4.

Centennial will be playing in front of their home fans against Garces Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Frontier, they are taking a road trip to take on Stockdale at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Frontier's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
