Softball Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Knights vs. Fort Bend Clements Rangers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Bend Elkins). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Fort Bend Clements Rangers on Friday. The Knights not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 8, 2024.
Adrian Thummel was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Thummel was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
