Recap: Heide Trask Titans vs. South Columbus Stallions
The Heide Trask Titans waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They took down South Columbus 75-60. Given Heide Trask's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while South Columbus is ranked 363rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Myron Mckoy, who scored 31 points along with three steals. Mckoy is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sherrod Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds.
Heide Trask has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for South Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Heide Trask didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-55 victory vs. East Bladen on the 9th. South Columbus has also already played their next game, a 60-58 defeat against West Columbus on the 9th.
