Pasadena Memorial's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Sam Rayburn 8-0. Pasadena Memorial might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Alvin lost 7-2 to Dobie on Tuesday. Alvin have struggled against Dobie recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pasadena Memorial's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Alvin, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.
