Football Recap: Caney Creek Takes a Loss

Caney Creek lost against Oak Ridge back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 48-14 loss at the hands of the War Eagles. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Caney Creek's record now sits at 1-8. As for Oak Ridge, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Caney Creek will face off against rival Grand Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oak Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe The Woodlands at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
