Preview: Potter-Dix Coyotes vs. Hyannis Longhorns
Potter-Dix is 0-3 against Hyannis since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Potter-Dix Coyotes will get right back to it and host the Hyannis Longhorns at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nebraska (Potter-Dix is ranked 250th, while Hyannis is ranked 260th).
After soaring to 67 points the game before, Potter-Dix were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 49-23 walloping at the hands of Arthur County. Potter-Dix has struggled against Arthur County recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Hyannis was handed a 40-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Garden County on Tuesday. Hyannis narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Garden County 31-29. The win was just what Hyannis needed coming off of a 52-12 loss in their prior contest.
Potter-Dix's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Hyannis, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.
