Wasilla is 9-1 against Palmer since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wasilla Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Palmer Moose at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Wasilla is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Mountain City Christian Academy, who was ranked third at the time (Wasilla was ranked first). Wasilla had just enough and edged out Mountain City Christian Academy 50-48.

Meanwhile, Palmer didn't have too much trouble with Kodiak on Saturday as they won 40-21.

Wasilla pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.4 points. As for Palmer, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Everything came up roses for Wasilla against Palmer when the teams last played on February 4th, as the team secured a 61-26 victory. Will Wasilla repeat their success, or does Palmer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
