While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Wednesday was Richard Carlson. He wasn't messing around, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with 11 or more strikeouts.
