Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Discovery Canyon

Discovery Canyon got themselves on the board against Roaring Fork on Saturday, but Roaring Fork never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Roaring Fork Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

Eoin Adams tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Nate Singleton was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Jake Cody was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Discovery Canyon pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Discovery Canyon will venture away from home to face off against Vista Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roaring Fork, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-9 loss against Montrose on the 8th.
