Perry-Lecompton was the 5-4 winner over Holton when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Kaws fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-9 on Monday. The Kaws' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Devin Aldrich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Taylor Trimble was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Perry-Lecompton's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Holton, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Perry-Lecompton will challenge rival Nemaha Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holton is set to square off against their familiar foe Hiawatha at 4:30 p.m. on May 1.
