West Fork has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 5-1 to the Porter Spartans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 735th, while the Spartans are ranked 280th).

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Porter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, West Fork will challenge Splendora at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Fork is facing Splendora at the right time seeing as Splendora is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Porter, they will head out on the road to take on Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Porter will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
