Baseball Recap: Rancho Buena Vista Wins Going Away Against Oceanside

Rancho Buena Vista had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Oceanside Pirates. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Longhorns this season.

Ty Lowry made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Rancho Buena Vista is 5-2 when Lowry allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-16 otherwise. Lowry was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

In other pitching news, Tyler Saldana-Mu?oz looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Connor Repchinuck was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Kaden Mueller, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Rancho Buena Vista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Rancho Buena Vista's record now sits at 10-18. As for Oceanside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-19.

As of now, neither Rancho Buena Vista nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
