It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pomperaug can now relate to. They fell just short of the Simsbury Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Pomperaug have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pomperaug's loss dropped their record down to 11-9-2. As for Simsbury, they pushed their record up to 10-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Pomperaug does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Simsbury, they will challenge Bethel on Monday.
