Springfield Catholic got themselves on the board against Hollister on Tuesday, but Hollister never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Fighting Irish have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Springfield Catholic, bringing their record up to 11-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hollister, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Springfield Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 loss against Fair Grove on the 16th. As for Hollister, they are taking a road trip to face off against Blue Eye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
