Football Recap: Rancho Cucamonga's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Merced, Rancho Cucamonga was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 12-6 victory over the South Hills Huskies. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Lizzy Brown had another great game (as she tends to do), rushing for 86 yards and one TD on only ten carries, while also throwing for 94 yards and one touchdown. What's more, she racked up 104.7 passer rating, the most she's had over her last six games.

Rancho Cucamonga didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Khalia Phyfier and Jada Lavender.

Rancho Cucamonga's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for South Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
