Preview: Moravian Academy Lions vs. Saucon Valley Panthers
Moravian Academy and Saucon Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Moravian Academy Lions will stay at home for another game and welcome the Saucon Valley Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on December 11th.
Last Tuesday, Moravian Academy came up short against Bangor and fell 52-42.
Meanwhile, Saucon Valley beat Jim Thorpe 57-48 on Saturday.
Jack Robertson was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Saucon Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Constantine Donahue, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Moravian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Saucon Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Moravian Academy couldn't quite finish off Saucon Valley in their previous matchup back in January and fell 47-44. Can Moravian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
