Metea Valley faced Lincoln-Way Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Mustangs beat the Knights by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Metea Valley, who have now won seven games in a row.

Isabelle Leofanti was the driving force of Metea Valley's attack as she scored both of Metea Valley's goals, bringing her season total up to four goals.
