Softball Recap: Thornton Academy Trojans vs. Noble Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennebunk, Thornton Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Noble Knights a 10-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Not much got past Sophia Bogardus, who gave up just five hits to keep Noble off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Barnes, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Theresa Eng, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
