Basketball Recap: Master's Academy Eagles vs. Trinity Prep Saints
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Master's Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over the Trinity Prep Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-16 last Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Master's Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasie Vellon, who posted 20 points. Kacey Hopkins was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Despite the loss, Trinity Prep still got an impressive performance from Jillian Hennebery, who earned 21 points. That's the most points Hennebery has posted since back in November of 2024.
