Preview: Boling Bulldogs vs. Hempstead Bobcats
Boling is 2-8 against Hempstead since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Boling Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Hempstead Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
After soaring to a 40-point victory in their last game, Boling came back down to earth last Tuesday. They fell just short of Van Vleck by a score of 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Boling has suffered yet this season.
Hempstead suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Hitchcock, falling 92-46. Hempstead was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-14.
The losing side was boosted by Floyd Ragston, who scored 16 points along with four steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Jamari Idlebird was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Boling has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Hempstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
