Basketball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Takes a Loss

Saxony Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. Their2024 ended with a 50-35 defeat against the Valle Catholic Warriors. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Saxony Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Valle Catholic, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Saxony Lutheran will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Valle Catholic, they will welcome St. Vincent at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
