Baseball Game Preview: South Garland Titans vs. Wylie Pirates

South Garland hasn't had much luck against Wylie recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The South Garland Titans will face off against the Wylie Pirates at 7:30 p.m. South Garland has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

South Garland is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They lost 20-3 to Garland.

Brandon Sierra was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. ADRIAN DELGADO also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Wylie came up short against Sachse on Friday and fell 6-3.

Wylie has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season. South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

South Garland might still be hurting after the 14-2 defeat they got from Wylie in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can South Garland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
