Football Game Recap: South vs. Eagle River

Eagle River came into their this week averaging 43 points per game, but Eagle River fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were given a punishing 7-50 loss at the hands of South. Eagle River were down by 7-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The defeat dropped Eagle River's record to 5-2. South's record now sits at 4-4.

Next week Eagle River take on Lathrop at 4:00 PM. Lathrop are cruising in on a three-game winning streak. South will be playing at home against Eagle River at at 2:00 PM on Saturday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
