Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Iowa City Little Hawks. That's two games in a row now that Washington have lost by exactly two goals.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Iowa City, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7-3 record this season.

Washington will be playing in front of their home fans against Dubuque Senior on Friday. As for Iowa City, they will take on Ottumwa on Friday.
