Volleyball Recap: Dove Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dove Creek managed to slip by Ignacio the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bobcats on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Dove Creek took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-8, 25-16.

Mykaela Fury paced Dove Creek's offense, picking up two kills. Fury got some help from Kaybree Smith and her two assists.

Dove Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ignacio, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dove Creek will square off against rival Mancos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ignacio is set to take on their familiar foe Dolores at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
