Bethesda Christian's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Mercy Culture Prep on Tuesday. Everything went the Lions' way against the Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders as they made off with an 11-3 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jayden Myers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Gonzales, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win got Bethesda Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Azle Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethesda Christian will welcome Christian Life Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Azle Christian, they will be playing at home against Stephenville FAITH at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
