While Grace Christian Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Zion Christian Academy Eagles. Considering the Lions have won three matchups by more than 32 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Grace Christian Academy's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Noah Anliker and Gunner Conner, who racked up four sacks between them. Conner also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. Grace Christian Academy received some extra help from Anliker, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Grace Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Zion Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Grace Christian Academy will face off against Columbia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will challenge Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
