Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boca Ciega). They really took it to the Northeast Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up an 83-41 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pirates have posted since January 25, 2024.

Northeast lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Erik Davis Jr, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and six rebounds. Those 14 points gave Davis Jr a new career-high. Dominic Brown was another key player, putting up ten points.

Boca Ciega pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Boca Ciega will head out to challenge Clearwater at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Boca Ciega has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Northeast, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-47 win against Seffner Christian on the 18th.
