While Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North has struggled on the road with five straight losses dating back to last season, that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Mason Lopez. Everything went the Raiders' way against the Hidalgo Early College Pirates as they made off with a 64-38 victory with plenty of help from Lopez, who shot 57% from the field en route to 22 points. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Garza, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's record now sits at 7-3. As for Hidalgo Early College, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will take on Rio Grande City at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Hidalgo Early College, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Donna at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
