Volleyball Recap: Lake-Lehman's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lake-Lehman had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mountain View Eagles on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12.

Mountain View lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Kilmer, who had nine kills, three digs, and three blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Sanders, who had 21 assists and two blocks.

Lake-Lehman's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mountain View, their loss ended an 11-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Lake-Lehman will take on Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Blue Ridge on the 27th.
